We had quite the deluge last night and I made the mistake of going into the chook run this afternoon.

Nice of you to turn up. |
I could say with 100% certainty that the ladies were not impressed with the weather or me.
 |
If I wanted a mud bath I would have asked for one. |
I had the feeling I should have been carrying warm dry towels and champagne rather than grain and greens.
 |
And don't come back without some tasty treats. Hired help these days!! |
I am due to change their bedding tomorrow. Hope they are in a better mood. Hmmm maybe some juicy earthworms will win them over.
Poor chickies, they don't like the rain! xxx
ReplyDeleteThey do have the Chateau de Chook to retire to. :)
DeleteNothing like a chicken with attitude!
ReplyDeleteWhat a load of fussbuckets! They should be grateful for small mercies....
ReplyDeleteYes i think they are getting way above their station. :)
DeleteWet hens look so miserable don't they ? Once it dries up they can have a dust bath & cheer up !
ReplyDeleteIt's raining here too - wet dogs smell & wet cats leave footprints all over the bedding !
I chase Baxter with the deodorant spray, he absolutely hates it. Makes my day though. :)
