Where has the time gone?
It has been a stressful few months since I last posted. Hubby having no job, and the loss of my beloved Baxter. As you know, Dachshunds have quite long backs. It is common for them to rupture disks or end up with paralysed back legs. It happened so fast, one day he was running around creating the usual havoc, then the next day he could barely move. It got so bad that within 3 days, he had to be carried around. So for the second time in 12 months or so, I have taken a dog to the vet to see if something could be done, only to leave alone. His passing was particularly hard as he was my lapdog and I loved him, loud barking and all.
Anyway, I am slowly making my way back to blogging. Hopefully only good news from now on.(fingers crossed).

I'm so sorry to hear you have lost your dear Baxter. I can only imagine the pain of losing a beloved dog. It is such a personal loss, one that takes time to heal. I hope soon that each memory of him will bring a smile to your face. He was a lucky fellow to be so loved. Sending a hug, Deb

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about that. I can just sense how attached you were to him and what a big loss it must be. Sorry to hear about the no-job situation as well. Hopefully things can only improve.
ReplyDeleteOh no, I am so, so sorry to hear about Baxter. We adore our pets, don't we, and grieve terribly when they die. It's obviously been a really tough time, but it's good to have you back. xxx
