Away with the music.
I love music, well I had better qualify that statement. I love all music EXCEPT Rap. I would rather watch paint dry than listen to it. Tonight Hubby and I are going to see two classical guitarists who happen to be brothers. What a talented family. We were lucky enough to get front row seats and I am going to be away with the fairies for the evening.
As usual, No.2 son was very supportive. "I hope they don't sing".

Wot, Jimmy Hendrix was awful? Sacrilege! Blasphemy! Treason!
ReplyDeleteThough I must admit he's not one of my favourite singers. I prefer Bob Dylan or Hugh Laurie or Mark Knopfler.
And I also like a pretty wide range of music, though my appreciation of classical music is rather limited. Unlike my wife Jenny who has a music degree!
Away with the fairies - that's a very Irish expression too....
Hubby just loves Mark Knopfler.
DeleteI had ask husband to turn that " awful noise " on the car radio down. He said it was Jimmy Hendrix great guitarist. I said the singing was an awful noise !

We had a great evening. They were brilliant and after the performance came out to mingle and sign copies of their latest CD.

They came out very conservatively dressed. Mind you the younger brother had on a very nice pair of shoes. You can tell I need to get out more often!!!
